  Session 1: SHIFT in Corporate Social Responsibility

This panel discussion looks at best practices for the development of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs for the gaming industry. The panelists will share the specifics of their CSR programs and discuss how they determined the focus and priorities for their programs. They will address topics such as aligning your CSR strategies with business goals, creating authentic programs and the relationship between CSR and employee engagement. With panelists representing state and provincial Lotteries, the gaming industry and professional sports, the session will offer a number of unique perspectives.

  Session 2: SHIFT in Multi-Cultural Outreach & Marketing

Lotteries are increasingly faced with the challenges and opportunities of effective communication with diverse audiences. This session will focus on understanding the business case for multicultural marketing in the Lottery industry. We will present case studies on how the California Lottery and the Texas Lottery are effectively engaging in multicultural marketing. We will address the shift from multicultural and general marketing towards total market communication. In addition, we will also look at what some of the best brands in the country are doing in this ever-evolving field.

This panel discussion will share insights into what makes a successful agency leader, common pitfalls that can cause a leader to stumble, and navigating the changing winds of working in a political environment.
